How to Make BBQ Sauce

There are only a few key ingredients to our easy homemade BBQ sauce recipe. Here is a list of what you will want to have on hand before learning how to make BBQ sauce:
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can of tomato paste (8 oz)
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 shallot, minced
1 tablespoon worchestshire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Once you have all of these ingredients together, you are ready to learn how to make BBQ sauce!
Heat a sauce pan with a tablespoon of olive oil in it. When hot, add the garlic and shallot. Cook until soft, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Heat on medium until it comes just to a boil, stirring often so it does not burn. Once it has come just to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring regularly.
Remove the BBQ sauce from the heat and let cool before putting it in an airtight container. Refrigerate for a day before using.
